The Sociology of Lesbian Love Video Description:Is society more accepting of lesbians than gays? Proponents of the sociology theory of lesbianism say yes! Transcript:"Ever wonder why society often smiles at two women having sex, but may not be so kind to two men who do the same?  A convincing argument for more open acceptance of female bisexuality versus male bisexuality stems from sociology. For as long as there have been humans, women have been encouraged to be nurturing caregivers.  This affection is expected across the board, so two women hugging (or more) don’t usually raise eyebrows.  Men, meanwhile, are raised to be tough and masculine, ideas that some interpret as being threatened by homosexuality.  Women may also be encouraged to “please” a man, and men often find lesbian acts enjoyable—and aren’t shy about saying so!  It’s interesting to note from a religious standpoint, the Bible specifically says “man shall not lie with man,” but doesn’t mention women being together.  Regardless of the reasons, lesbian love is a huge source of fascination and pride in modern-day society!
