Video Description:With as much as everybody talks about sex it can be hard to separate fact from fiction. Watch this video to set the record straight about common urban legends such as whether semen is really low in carbohydrates. Transcript:"Broccoli makes semen taste worse." "The average penis measures 8 inches." What can you believe? The only thing you know for sure about sex is that it's sensational. Here, we take common sex-isms and set 'em straight. Rumor has it that the average erect penis measures 8 inches, but that's false. It's closer to 6! But broccoli does give you, as Sex and the City's Samantha says, "funky spunk." Semen is bitter, so cutting out broccoli and coffee can make it sweeter. Another oft repeated sex-ism is that men reach their sexual peak at 18, while women don't get there until 28. This is true, at least as far as sexual hormones are concerned. But peak hormones don't necessarily mean peak sexual performance, so don't worry too much. Another sex stat that gets thrown around is that semen is low in carbs.  But this legend is just that - it's full of high carb fructose! Who knew that so much of sex-lore was simply stories?
