Transcript: What’s slippery, sensual and tons of fun?  Your sex life—on lubricant!  Lubricant is great, but not all forms are created equal!  The most popular are the water-based brands.  Water-based lubricants, like Astroglide and Liquid Silk, are designed for use with sex toys and latex contraceptives, like condoms and diaphragms. These formulas are designed to be non-irritating to the body—good news for people with sensitive skin.  The downside?  They dry up faster than other forms of lube.  Meanwhile, silicone-based lubricants can’t be used with silicone sex-toys, but they’re fine with latex.  Silicone lubes, like Uberlube, last longer than water-based ones. Finally, oil-based lubricants, like Vaseline, are an option for some sex play, like hand jobs.  But these lubes are NOT safe with latex, however, as they can break down the material!  No matter which lube you love, safe sex is the sexiest sex, so be smart about protection.
