Quite a few of the people we asked in person have gotten STD tests in the past couple of months. When we looked at the responses to our on-line survey, we found similar results.

4 out of 5 people who filled out the survey said that they had gotten an STD test at some point in their life. Women were slightly more likely than men to have gotten tested.

Of the people who said that they had gotten an STD test, fully 50% said that their most recent test had occurred in the past year.
