Can you imagine being able to get aroused during sexual stimulation, but never reaching orgasm? Orgasmic dysfunction, or anorgasmia, is a real medical condition, which means it is not something to be embarrassed or ashamed about. In primary anorgasmia, an individual has never experienced an orgasm, while in secondary anorgasmia, a person once attained orgasm, but now cannot. Anorgasmia has multiple causesbut 90 percent of them are psychological! For example, the condition can stem from performance anxiety, rape, negative attitudes about sex, or past abuse. For this reason, sexual therapy is often recommended for people with orgasmic dysfunction. In 65 to 85 percent of cases, this treatment cures the condition and allows patients to lead normalfulfillingsex lives! If allowed to persist, anorgasmia can cause discontent and conflict in a relationship. For this reason, its important to talk to a doctor if you cant climax!
