Many men wish for a bigger penis, but most don’t realize how their member actually measures up against other guys. Study after study shows that the average penis measures between 5 and 6 inches long when erect, while even more studies prove that women feel size has little to do with a man’s sexual prowess. Despite these statistics, almost half of men suffer from a condition called small-penis syndrome, which is ongoing worry that the penis is diminutive, despite it being normally sized. Small-penis syndrome, which is psychological, is different than the medical condition known as “micropenis,” whereby the erect penis is less than 2.75 inches long. Micropenis occurs infrequently, but when it does happen, it is often diagnosed in infancy. The condition can often be improved with growth hormones when diagnosed. The bottom line is that most penises please just fine. If you’re worried about micropenis, however, speak to a doctor about your concerns!
