Keep in mind that the two most common stds, herpes and hpv are the two which doctors test for with the least frequency. Most insurance plans will cover std testing but it is also possible to obtain inexpensive or free testing from government fundedand independent testing clinics.

She received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed her residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Ko has volunteered for Doctors of the World where she examined victims of torture seeking asylum in the United States. In addition she has served on medical relief missions to New Orleans, Pakistan, and Northern Africa. Currently, Dr. Ko provides gynecological care to the disabled population in Manhattan.
