Transcript:
A common exercise is called sensate focus. Used to treat issues like erectile dysfunction, sensate allows a couple to see sex as an experience that is not just about orgasm. In sensate, a couple moves gradually through phases of foreplay, starting with erotic talking, and working up slowly to full intercourse. If therapy proves ineffective, some sex therapists will offer referrals to sex surrogates, certified people who engage in sexual activity with clients.
